The present lot with a frontage of 65 feet on the East side of State Street, and 377 feet on the North side of Dippold Avenue, was purchased for $650 from Henry and Isable Bryan and Miss Sarah Bryan, and the deed dated October 26,1897. To this was added on June 21, 1922, at a cost of $1,050, the lot next the church, with a frontage of 50 feet to Locust Alley.

The parsonage was built in 1900 and cost $1,360, with some labor and materials donated.

The present church building was erected during the pastorate of Rev. R. B. Carroll, whose careful supervision and personal labor are gratefully remembered to this day. The cornerstone was laid Sunday afternoon, November 19,1905, by the Rev. H. L. Chapman, assisted by the pastor, and Rev. Reed of the Conway United Presbyterian Church. The church was dedicated June 3, 1906, "by the presiding elder, T. N. Boyle, who preached Saturday evening. C. L. E. Cartwright preached Sunday morning to a large audience; at 3:00 p. m., a platform meeting was addressed by H. L. Chapman, H. A. Baum, and the presiding elder; and E. M. Wood preached in the evening. The building complete cost nearly $7,000.00 of which $2,460 remained to be raised on the day of dedication Twenty-six hundred dollars was pledged, and the church was formally dedicated." The stone was donated from the Baden quarry by Miss Minnie Gallagher and the bell by Captin J. H.Douds.

In 1925 the basement was remodeled and finished for use, and improvements were maid in the parsonage and ground; and later a new heating system was installed. In 1936 the auditorium was recarpeted, new hymnals purchased, and other improvements made costing $1,000 in all, and paid in full.
