Recording as best I am able, from memory, the deacons and trustees of the church for the years from 1890 till today, many of these serving for long periods, there have been: A. T. Forsythe, G. Y. Boal, G. S. Blazier, L. I. Berry, A. P. Bryan, James Jones, G. S. Bratchie, William H. Moore, J. H. Dippold, R. C. Machesney, Will Forsythe, e. A. Miller, J. K. Scott, M. L. Strock, F. A. Barkley, H. C. Machesney, c. M. Bryan, G. L. Black, Hiram Brown, James Marr, Fred Hettinger, George Glasser, Harry Lester, Calvin L. Blazier, Sr., I. B. Patterson, Clarence Headland, Leon Meadows, Carl Serack, Charles Keefer, Charles Cook, and C. F. Royal. The Superintendents of the Sunday School following Mr. Forsythe, who served for 35 years, have been: George S. Blazier, James K. Scott, h. C. Machesney, F. A. Barkley, Harry Lester, I. B. Patterson, and Earl Bauer. Mrs. James K. Scott and Miss Alice Bryan, now Mrs. Joseph Baughman, both served many years as organist. Others who have served the congregation are: Blanche Blazier Bryan, Ethel Black Serack, and Mrs. Harry Haspel.
The Ladies Aid Society of Christ evangelical Lutheran Church was organized September 17, 1880, with the Reverend W. A. Passavant, Jr., as chairman. An election was held resulting in the following officers being elected to serve for the first year:
