Through the efforts and interest shown by members of the Harriet A. Moore Mission Band in trying to bring together the young girls of the church for a definite purpose, i. e. to learn more of the mission work being done, both at home and abroad, and also to aid the church wherever possible, a meeting was held in the Sunday School room of Christ Lutheran Church on June 21, 1933, where the Young Women's Missionary Society was organized. The membership has grown from nine to 21 with Mrs. C. S. Brewer and Mrs. C. J. Headland serving as sponsors.

It would require a volume to record the intimate connection of the many personalities who have had a forceful effect of the history of this church. Many beautiful acts of faith and devotion on the part of members of the congregation have never been recorded. Much inspiring influence has its only earthly record in human hearts. These early struggles of loyalty, faithfulness and devotion of the founders of this church should be an example and an inspiration to the congregation of today and also to those who follow us. 1859-1938-"May the precious heritage of eighty years of honorable history be kept guarded and cherished by worthy hearts and hands to the glory of God and to the enlargement of His Kingdom."
