tertainment for at least one program and cooperates with the county in its Annual Drama Festival.
11. The Conservation and Garden Committee takes entire charge of our "School Beautification Project."
12. The International Relations Committee tries to keep thoughts of peace uppermost in our minds.
13. The Magazine Committee contacts each Club member for a subscription to the Pennsylvania Club Woman. Our Club has 100% subscription.
14. The Publicity Chairman attends to notices in the local papers and the Pennsylvania Club Woman; also keeps our own "Scrapbook" up to date.

The above is merely an outline of the work of the Woman's Club of Baden. "Coming together is beginning, working together is progress, keeping together is success" is a good creed for any Club. The Woman's Club is independent of sect, or politics, and quote, from "A Letter from the President," Article II of the State By-Laws: "The object of this organization shall be to unite the influence and interests of Pennsylvania women and to promote legislative, civic, educational, moral and social measures."

The outlook and growth of The Woman's Club of Baden depends largely on these lines from Julia Lake Kellersbarger's "Congo Crosses."

"We are governed by the past and the future. We look upon the road already traveled, that we may profit by experiences, but we look forward up the mountain heights, away from the confusion of the valleys and cross currents, where we may gain a perspective of the future."

BADEN JUNIOR WOMAN'S CLUB

On Monday evening, December 4, 1933, a group of young ladies met at the home of Miss Alice Wolz for the purpose of discussing the organization of a Junior Woman's Club in Baden. Twenty-two names were entered for enrollment.

Miss Wolz, as temporary chairman, appointed Mrs. Lillian Hammerle, Miss LaMyra Brown and Miss Arleen hill as a By-Laws Committee to draw up the Constitution and By-Laws.
